 I am Moorthattil Hari Kumar FIDE ID (33326479) . My peak rating 1616. 

Chess has been more than just a game for me—it has been a lifelong journey of learning, teaching, and growth. With over 10 years of dedicated training and professional experience, I have built my career around nurturing talent and spreading the love for chess across different age groups and platforms.

I am a FIDE-rated chess player with a peak rating of 1616, and I hold the prestigious FIDE Trainer Title – DI. Alongside coaching, I am also a Licensed Senior National Arbiter, giving me a deep understanding of the game from both competitive and regulatory perspectives.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of training more than 1,000 students, ranging from beginners to advanced tournament players. My coaching philosophy focuses not only on improving chess skills but also on developing critical thinking, discipline, and confidence—qualities that benefit students far beyond the chessboard.

I am the Founder of YPAAT Chess Academy, an institution built with the vision of providing structured, high-quality chess education. Through the academy, I have collaborated with reputed educational institutions such as DAV Public School and Walkertwon Public School, integrating chess into academic environments as a powerful learning tool.

In addition to schools, I have also worked with multinational companies like Multearts Pvt. Ltd., delivering professional chess training programs and workshops tailored to diverse audiences.

To reach a wider global community, I actively create content as a YouTube chess content creator and a Lichess streamer. Through these platforms, I share game analysis, training sessions, live streams, and practical insights to help chess enthusiasts learn and improve in an engaging way.

My mission is simple: to make chess accessible, enjoyable, and impactful. Whether through coaching, tournaments, online content, or institutional partnerships, I continue to work toward inspiring the next generation of chess players.
